About the Author Anthony (Bud) Bertino taught high school and community college science to students for over 40 years. He has taught biology, chemistry, physical science, ecology, and AP Biology and has served as a science supervisor at Canandaigua Academy. His awards include Outstanding Biology Teacher (NY, NABT), Woodrow Wilson Fellowship Award, Tandy Scholars� Award, and Outstanding Teaching Award from the University of Rochester. He has served as an AP Biology reader, consultant, and trainer for the College Board presenting week-long workshops around the country.
